The apartment is situated in the upper part of Praiano, far away from the traffic and the noise, but just a short walk from shops, restaurants and other services. You reach it going up a flight of 72 steps from the small piazza in the center of the town. Casa Ida is a very characteristic 2-floored home, renovated by the owner, a local builder, himself. He took care of the smallest detail and you will be astonished of the plenty precious designs, furnishings and the beautiful tiles of the terrace which all together will let you feel immediately the real typical Amalfi Coast atmosphere.
A well-cared shaded garden with barbecue and working pizza oven is welcoming you. Going into the entrance hall the warmth of the tasteful mix of new and old furnishings is immediately surrounding you.
On this first floor you have a spacious living room with open fireplace, doors leading to a balcony and one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom room with Jacuzzi bath. A large well equipped kitchen will enthusiasm those who are fond of cooking. From the kitchen you enter the flowered garden furnished for outdoor dinners. On the second floor you have another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.
From the second floor you enter the large roof terrace with breathtaking view onto the sea and the landscape. Almost no amenities are missing.: washing machine, satellite TV, wi-fi Internet connection, four-burner gas cooker with electric oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, toaster, iron facilities, hairdryer are at your disposal.
Parking is available against payment of Euro 10 per day at abt 250 meters from the house.
The pebble beach of La Praia can be reached on foot in abt. 20 minutes or by car or by the frequent public transport service.
Positano is 7 km away and can also be reached by public transport service in order to avoid the problems of parking. Amalfi 12 km, Ravello 16 km , Sorrento 18 km, Salerno 45 km, Naples airport 65 km, Rome airport 269 km.
