Praiano can be seen from most of the Amalfi Coast, and is perched high on a promontory that goes straight down into the sea, as if symbolically dividing the gulf of Salerno into two. Praiano is a peaceful, old village scattered about the slopes of the hill along lanes and flights of steps. In the upper part, in a very panoramic and secluded position, lies Villa Marianna, a very nice, typical independent house, renovated in the 1990s, with access from the little piazza, next to the covered garage, where our guests have the use of a car-parking space, up a flight of steps that leads to the property. The villa has everything that you might need and has very good-quality furnishings. It is composed of: 4 double bedrooms: the first one with en-suite bathroom with tub and shower, the second one with a double bed and a double divan bed, the third one with a double bed, the fourth bedroom with double bed, fireplace and en-suite bathroom with shower. You reach it from the garden. The third bathroom has a shower. Furthermore you will find a toilet. The large living room has a fireplace, satellite television, stereo with CD-player and a dining area for ten persons. The kitchen, has also been equipped with all necessary accessories, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Both from the garden which has a private swimming-pool and from the terrace furnished with tables and chairs you can enjoy a splendid view of the sea and the gulf. The beach at Praiano can be reached not only on foot along typical local lanes and flights of steps in about fifteen minutes, but also by car or, in the summer months, by public transport. La Praiano is one of the most attractive places on the Amalfi Coast, the inlet is enclosed by high cliffs dropping sheer into the sea, with a pebble beach, a little piazza with typical fisherman's houses, a romantic path carved into the rock that runs along a stretch of the coast and several restaurants that offer local cuisine. Praiano has all the services you might need and lies about 7 Kms from Positano, which can also be reached by convenient public transport. The stop is next to the house.
