Detailed description
Villa dei limoni is located in the centre of Vettica Maggiore in the Amalfi Coast, hamlet of Praiano and the access is from the main road by 40 steps. From the sunny terrace, you can admire the ancient Torre Saracena as well as the entire coastline from Positano to the famous Faraglioni of Capri. Along the main road, you can find all the services you might need, several food shops, bars and restaurants. The bus stop is 20 metres away from the apartment. The pebble beach of La Praia, which offers several typical restaurants, boat hire and a sub-aqua school, can be reached by car or by bus in 5 minutes. Praiano, the heart of the Amalfi Coast, is 6 Km away from Positano, 9 Km from Amalfi and 15 Km from Ravello.

"The Villa was very nice, clean, and welcoming. Beautiful views of the coast. Should be warned that it is very high up so a rental car is a MUST! Water pressure also a little rough. But overall it was fantastic."

"We loved Praiano, and Luigi, the contact person for the villa couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. The villa Dei Limoni was lovely and comfortable with fabulous views. But it is nearly 400 steps up from the town centre or up a very steep hill even from the bus, which is not 20 metres away! It's fine if you're fit but if not you would need a car or taxis. That said, it is lovely and worth the effort."

"The views from the two large balconies are amazing and beautiful. Parking was available directly in front of the gate to the villa and access to the villa was only 50 steps from parking. The four rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom was very small but well maintained. We also expereinced the hot water issue but once resetting the tankless water heater was explained to us by Mr. Luigi, getting hot water was no longer a problem. This villa is high up the hill, not recommended if you do not have a car or are in very good shape for the climb. But it is a very relaxing and pleasant place to look at the spectacular view, watch the sunset and just enjoy."

"Just back from week in this villa. Disappointed with second bedroom whcih has a small window very high up at roof level. The kitchen utensils provided could have been cleaner and we had several days without hot water for showers. Owner lives down on the next level but not too interested in sorting out gas boiler problem. View from terrace is superb but a car in vital as 400 steps down to main road can't be negotiated too often."
