Praiano è visibile dalla maggior parte della Costiera Amalfitana, ed è appollaiato in alto su un promontorio che arriva giù fino al mare, come a dividere simbolicamente il golfo di Salerno in due parti. Praiano è un tranquillo, antico villaggio disseminato vicino ai pendii della collina lungo viottoli e rampe di gradini. Nella parte superiore, in una posizione molto panoramica e appartata, risiede Villa La Caravella, una tipica casa indipendente molto graziosa, rinnovata negli anni 90. La villa ha tutto ciò di cui possiate avere bisogno e ha un arredamento di alta qualità, comprensiva di lavatrice, tv color e aria condizionata. Anche la cucina è stata attrezzata con tutti gli accessori necessari.
Dalla terrazza potrete godere di una splendida vista del mare e del golfo.
E' possibile raggiungere la spiaggia di Praiano a piedi, in circa 15 minuti, lungo tipiche viuzze locali e rampe di gradini, ma anche in auto o, durante il periodo estivo, tramite i mezzi pubblici.
Praiano è uno dei luoghi più attraenti della costa, l'insenatura è racchiusa tra alte scogliere direttamente a ridosso del mare, con una spiaggia di ciottoli, una piccola piazza con delle tipiche pescherie, un romantico sentiero intagliato nella roccia che cammina lungo un tratto di costa e diversi ristoranti che offrono piatti della cucina locale. Praiano nel cuore della costiera amalfitana, dista soli 6 Km da Positano,20 km da Sorrento,9km da Amalfi e 15 da Ravello che possono essere raggiunti facimente anche con i mezzi pubblici.

"Lovely and comfortable, well equipped apartment, glorious view from the terrace. A pool would definitely make the property more desirable.
The three things that are missing in our opinion are:
- Proper blinds to keep the apartment dark when one does not want to be woken up by sunlight at 6 A.M.
- a decent Wi-Fi connection
- a good TV with a good channel list
During our stay we only had 4 RAI channels and the signal was very poor, and had to walk to the bar at the centre of town for an expensive Wi-Fi.
Grocery shopping is convenient while the location is not practical if you want to walk to the centre of Praiano.
Giuseppe is a star, more helpful and resourceful than you could wish for, and made the entire experience easier for us.
All in all, it's been a pleasure."

"A lovely apartment, with a great terrace for catching a bit of sun or gazing at the stunning view.
On the same road as the two grocery shops on the tower side of Praiano, within easy reach of the beach (Praiano style - down through the delightful alleyways and steps). Giuseppe couldn't have been more helpful and we would certainly choose to stay here again.
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and room for another to sleep on the sofa bed if needed."

"MR GIUSEPPE, the local contact person for the Villa were incredibly friendly and personable and helpful in getting whatever you need.
Perfect location, as it's just a short distance from the center of Praiano, but apart from the busy, hectic atmosphere of Positano, or crowds and traffic of Amalfi. We easily visited both towns during our stay by using the buses, which stop right outside the Villa (Internal Positano/Praiano). I also liked the fact that you can walk over to the beach area at La Praia in about 10

"Great location and spectacular fews! We enjoyed breakfasts and late dinners at the terrace. Do not be afraid to walk to La Praia beach by the steps. It is not so far and really worth. You will pass the typical houses, gardens and courtyards.
We would like also send many thanks to Mr Giuseppe ( the local contact person ) for his help."

"The apartment was nice. The location is great. the view from the apartment is brilliant. Praiano is lovely. The roads are a challenge. The weather was amazing. The herb garden is great for any cooks who wish to visit. The bus service is very good. Tutti Tutti the local supermarket is well equipped. The air conditioning is great. There were a few problems.
The oven did not work - this was very disappointing. We raised this issue with the caretaker who said the electrics in the house would not work if the oven was to be used. A microwave was there to be used instead but this did not satisfy our needs.
The door into the main bedroom needs to be adjusted - it drags on the floor when you open it making a loud noise and waking anyone who is asleep.
The mosquitoes were terrible. The beds need mosquito nets. The house needs electric plugs to combat the mosquitoes (we were told about these two days before we left.)
The screen on the window to stop flies coming in is broken and needs to be repaired.
The beds are not comfortable.
The toilet seats are rectangular - not the shape of a human - uncomfortable!
The shower in the en suite in the main bedroom is like a drip - water pressure is poor.
The owner stayed for a couple of days in the flat upstairs he was up all night and very noisy.
Car parking is difficult outside the property. We paid 150 euros to a neighbour for two weeks to use a car parking space in his secure car park.
The TV is a joke. Tiny TV. No DVD player. Reception of the local tv channels is ok at best. The hous could do with access to SKY."
