Villa Peonia is a typical Mediterranean three-story luxury villa with high vaulted rooms and majolica tiles of Vietri sul Mare in the heart of Positano. You reach it passing a public sidewalk with 25 steps for abt 120 meters. The furnishings are very elegant and refined. Many pieces are hand-made by local artisans during the time. The large garden with splendid view of the sea is surrounded by columns reflecting the old Republic of Amalfi. One of the main beaches of Positano, Fornillo beach, is at 450 meters and the bus stop of the local line is at 120 meters.
The owners are living on the Ground Floor, but our guests will have their complete privacy.
On the First Floor you will find the living room furnished with sofas and divans, an exclusive fireplace and many antique pieces, a dining area with a table for eight guests, a kitchen with four-burner gas cooker, fridge and freezer, micro wave, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, toaster and many other useful appliances. Furthermore there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with fully enclosed shower and hair dryer. From the living room and from the bedroom you can accede the terrace, furnished with tables, chairs and sun umbrellas. From here you have an amazing view of the wide blue Mediterranean Sea.
On the Second Floor you will find a large double bedroom with separate sitting corner, satellite television, air condition, en-suite bathroom with tub and shower, hair dryer and access to a terrace with marvellous view of the sea. Furthermore there are other three double bedrooms with satellite television, air condition and access to a terrace with splendid sea view, as well as three bathrooms with fully enclosed shower and hair dryer.
We suggest to avoid to get to Positano by car. Public transportation means are efficient and numerous. The SITA line is connecting the whole Amalfi Coast and there are many ferry boat lines from Salerno and Naples to Positano.
