Detailed description
Praiano can be seen from most of the Amalfi Coast, and is perched high on a promontory that goes straight down into the sea, as if symbolically dividing the gulf of Salerno into two. Praiano is a peaceful, old village scattered about the slopes of the hill along lanes and flights of steps. In the upper part, in a very panoramic and secluded position, lies Villa Torre a mare, a very nice, typical independent house, renovated in the 1990s, with access from the little piazza. The villa has everything that you might need during your holidays and has very good-quality furnishings. It is equipped with washing-machine, TV. The kitchen, too, has been equipped with all necessary accessories. From the terrace you can enjoy a splendid view of the sea and the gulf. The beach at Praiano can be reached not only on foot along typical local lanes and flights of steps in about fifteen minutes, but also by car or, in the summer months, by public transport. Praiano is one of the most attractive places on the Amalfi Coast, the inlet is enclosed by high
cliffs dropping sheer into the sea, with a pebble beach, a little piazza with typical fisherman's houses, a romantic path carved into the rock that runs along a stretch of the coast and several restaurants that offer local cuisine. Praiano has all the services you might need and lies about 7 Kms from Positano, which can also be reached by convenient public transport.
